218 421 Leutkirch (4482) - a photo on Flickriver

            Der EC 196 von München HBF nach Zürich HB nimmt momentan baustellenbedingt den Weg über die KBS 971. So ergibt sich die Möglichkeit den Zug im Westallgäu bei Leutkirch mit Schloss Zeil im Hintergrund aufzunehmen. Am 14. August 2016 wurde dies umgesetzt, an diesem Tage führte die Mühldorfer 218 421 den mit einer halbstündigen Verspätung verkehrenden Zug.  

EuroCity 196 from Munich central station to Zurich main station is actually rerouted over Memmingen due to construction works. So there is the opportunity to take a picture of this train in the western part of the Allgäu-region. Near Leutkirch you can choose the castle of Zeil as a background-motive. At the 14th of August 2016 i took this picture of the train with its leading engine 218 421. The EuroCity was delayed by half an hour.
