218 496 Reinertshof (1590n) - a photo on Flickriver

            Die richtig schönen Motive an der König-Ludwig-Bahn waren leider normalerweise nur mit "Steuerwagen voraus" umsetzbar. Bei Reinertshof hat man diesen spektakulären Blick auf die Ammergauer Alpen. Rechts türmt sich der über 2000 Meter hohe Säuling auf, links der für Wanderer gut zu erklimmende Branderschrofen. Darüber hinaus bietet diese Stelle einen reizvollen Blick auf die international bekannte Sehenswürdigkeit schlechthin: Das Schloss Neuschwanstein. Viele Reisende, die am 14. Oktober 2018 im von der 218 496 geschobenen RE 57513 nach München HBF saßen, haben es bestimmt an diesem Tage besucht.  

The really spectacular motifs on the König-Ludwig-Bahn were normally only possible with a "control cab ahead". At Reinertshof you have this spectacular view of the Ammergau Alps. On the right, the Säuling, more than 2000 meters high, piles up, on the left the Branderschrofen, which is easy to climb for hikers. In addition, this place offers a charming view of the internationally famous sight par excellence: Neuschwanstein Castle. Many travellers who sat in the regional train RE 57513, pushed by the 218 496 to Munich HBF on October 14th 2018, certainly had visited it on this day.
