NeSa 218 117 München Süd (11949n)

            Die Eisenbahn-Betriebsgesellschaft Neckar-Schwarzwald-Alb versah die 218 117 im Herbst 2021 zur Freude der zahlreichen Fans dieser Baureihe mit der sogenannten CityBahn-Lackierung, die einige Maschinen des BW Hagen Mitte der 1980-er Jahre erhielten. Dies erfolgte für den Einsatz zwischen Köln und Gummersbach, bei dem die Bundesbahn damals ein attraktiveres Angebot im Nahverkehr mit modernisierten Silberlingen in der gleichen Farbgebung testete. Die Züge fuhren nach Takt und es gab auch ein gastronomisches Angebot. Die 218 117 wurde damals übrigens nicht umlackiert und war in Flensburg stationiert. Am 24. Oktober 2021 beförderte sie einen Schienenschleifzug einmal quer durch die Bundesrepublik. Von Garching an der Alz ging es nach Heide. Wenige Augenblicke, bevor die Schatten überhand nahmen, gelang mir noch eine Aufnahme, als das Schmuckstück in den Bahnhof München Süd einfuhr.  

To the delight of the numerous fans of this class, the Neckar-Schwarzwald-Alb railway operating company gave the 218 117 the so-called CityBahn livery in autumn 2021, which some machines of the depot at Hagen received in the mid-1980s. This was done for use between Cologne and Gummersbach, where the Bundesbahn was testing a more attractive local service with modernised so called "Silberling" coaches in the same livery at the time. The trains ran on a tact and there was also a gastronomic offer. Note that 218 117 was not repainted at the time and was stationed in Flensburg. On 24 October 2021, it carried a rail grinding train once across the Federal Republic of Germany. From Garching an der Alz in Bavaria it went to Heide in Schleswig-Holstein. A few moments before the shadows took over, I managed to get a shot of this gem as it pulled into Munich South station.
