Maglesoe - a photo on Flickriver

Maglesoe

            Maglesoe is a very old lake, from the last ice age, 10.000 years ago. This area is called the Danish alpes. Tells you a little about the flatness of our country. I think the highest point here is approx. 120 meters above sea. But I have also heard from tourists, that our country is definitely not flat, especially when they go on our dedicated bike routes across Denmark.
This area is also the only place in Denmark, where we have an observatory, Brorfelde.
....and it's very close to my home, so I'm blessed with a magnificent nature here.
