I am Fennel, I was born messy - a photo on Flickriver

            Submitted to Macro Mondays for the theme "Vegetables"

Fennel, like celery, the entire plant is edible and is used for different cooking applications. One cup of Fennel contains almost 20 per cent of  the recommended daily requirement of Vitamin C.  

It is a difficult plant to photograph, particularly a macro photo, because the leaves are very messy. As such it wont be easy to present it nicely to catch peoples eyeballs. As I had other alternative vegetables, I was struggling whether it is a good choice for Macro Mondays this week. Although, I look upon it as a naughty carefree boy, I am willing to give him a fair chance to present his humorous side to the viewers.
