Leodagger. Gottvater-Pieta, um 1740 - Rokoko

            Im Ortszentrum der 90-Seelen-Winzergemeinde Leodagger (GM Pulkau, HL) steht an der örtlichen Hauptstrasse (L1056) die klassizistische Ortskapelle die dem Hl.Martin (Peter & Paul?) geweiht ist. Über dem Eingangstor zur Kapelle ist in einer gefaschten Rundbogennische diese spätbarocke polychrome Figurengruppe der Hl.Dreifaltigkeit platziert. Sie ist vom Typus "Gottvater-Pieta" oder auch "Gottes-Not" genannt. Zu sehen ist Gottvater, am Wolkenthron sitzend, der seinen toten Sohn Jesus Christus in seinen Armen auf seinem Schoss hält. Oberhalb in einer Strahlen- Flammengloriole der Hl.Geist in Form einer Taube mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln. Einst stand diese Figurengruppe als Haussegen gegenüber der Ortskapelle in einer Nische des einst mächtigen vierkantigen barocken St.Bernhards-Hofes, einem Wirtschaftshof des Zisterzienser Stiftes St.Bernhard in Frauenhofen bei Horn. Heute ist dieser Hof stark verkleinert privat als Haus Nr.12 im Ort. Bekannte Restaurierungsjahre: 2002. (NW)
