Dettifoss - a photo on Flickriver

Dettifoss

I doubted to post this one. Dettifoss is such a well known waterfall, and you can find so many images of it everywhere on Flickr and else.
But it is an immense experience, it is such a powerful waterfall. The noise, the amount of water falling around, and all the droplets on your camera lens (and the amount of people) make this a challenge.

I used the foreground to create some depth, you lose part of the immense water curtain going down. Well you can't have it all.

I already posted earlier Hafragillsfoss (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/44611223752/in/datepo...) and Selfoss (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/31078640707/in/datepo...), that are very close to this one. An amazing canyon to visit.
