Lago Dei Piani (In Explore 14-02-2022)

When I posted this image (flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/51815064997/in/dateposted/) of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, I mentioned the loads of tourists that do the circular tour around the massive, but I also mentioned that if you walk a little further (ca 10 minutes) you come to a place with more wonderful scenery, and that is what you see here, the Lago Dei Piani. I took this shot before going down, and there are in fact two small lakes next to each other. (The one on the right isn't shown here).

Although I came to the Dolomites to photograph the autumn, I already got a little touch of winter, since the four days before it had rained in the valleys, but here there had been fallen some snow, which gives a nice contrast to the wonderful ochre and blue.

I spent more than an hour here to portray the landscape in all different directions, so it was difficult what to post here.

Maybe later more from a position near the lake.
