Schloss Neuschwanstein - a photo on Flickriver

            One of the reasons for going to the south of Germany was to see the castle Neuschwanstein. It is a fairy tale castle, beautifully situated on the slopes of the first mountains of the Alps. 

There are many pictures of the castle on Flickr, especially taken from the Marienbrücke, and I wanted to find another viewpoint that is less well known. For this reason I went up (by cable car) with the Tegelbergbahn and walked all the way down to the village. 

On several spots you have a nice view on the castle. As you can see Autumn started to color the trees, and in combination with the sunny weather, it gives a nice glow.
