The Muktinath Lupra trail (in Explore 01-12-2024)

            I stayed a few days in and around Muktinath, and then I walked the trail to Lupra and then further to Kagbeni. I estimate it to be somewhat between 17 and 20 kilometer. 

First I had to go up this pass with splendid views of the Himalayas, it was very clear in the morning, but also as you can see, there was a lot of haze, and that haze presumably was part of the air pollution that started to cover Nepal during many days of my trip. 

For photography haze is not always a pleasure, because colors and contrast are flattened, but here in combination with the bare foreground, it think it is less disturbing.
