Castillo de Magaña, Soria. - a photo on Flickriver

            Foto hecha desde la parte alta de la población. Desde aquí se aprecian perfectamente los dos recintos y la torre que componen el castillo. Su origen esta en la torre defensiva de origen bereber del siglo X. Esta torre fue rodeada posteriormente por dos recintos. La estructura actual de mampostería es fruto de las reformas bajomedievales del siglo XV para convertirlo en residencia señorial. Los elementos que lo componen hace que este emparentado con la escuela de Valladolid, estilo de construcción que se extendió por el norte de Castilla en la segunda mitad del siglo XV. El estado de conservación es bueno en comparación con otros castillos de la zona.
