CTH&SE West Dana Tower - a photo on Flickriver

            Here is a shot of Chicago, Terre Haute & Southeaster's West Dana, Indiana tower, circa 1916.  This tower controlled the crossing of the CTH&SE (later Milwaukee Road) with the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton RR (later B&O).  This was located at MP 150 on the CTH&SE Illinois Division.  This tower had a bad fire in the 1940's and was replaced with a 1-story tower shortly thereafter.  This view is looking north toward the diamond with the bridge over Goose Creek in the foreground.  In the distance to the right of the mainline was a small 2-track yard with an interchange in the N/E quadrant (tower sat in the S/W quadrant).  A motorcar can be seen sitting outside the shed across the tracks from the tower.  Photographer and exact date are unknown.
