No. 24 'Calbourne'. - a photo on Flickriver

            04-4T O2 Class No. 24 'Calbourne' was designed by William Adams  and built in 1891 at Nine Elms Locomotive Works. Shipped to the IOW in 1925 and following electrification of the line, the engine was sold to Wight Locomotive Society. It is considered to be the flagship loco of the line. Pictured here at Haven Street Station before running round in order to work the 1055 departure to SmallBrook Junction and Wootton. 22nd August 2023.
