Traveling to the end of it's time - a photo on Flickriver

            As this flower finishes it's time of blossoming, it becomes translucent.  I still don't know the name of it.  This is from my archives as it's just too brutally hot and humid to even try to be outside for any length of time.  Today, at the feeder, I saw a parakeet eating seed from the ground.  I tried to get it to come to me, but of course it wouldn't.  I was going to put it in a large box and try to find someplace to take it for rescue.  I hope it makes it okay.  Having to work today so will be visiting as I can.  Hope everyone has a wonderful and happy Friday!
