CNJ 1554 at Maiden Creek - a photo on Flickriver

            In 1986, the Hawk Mountain Chapter 1554 went onto the Blue Mountain and Reading from its home in Jim Thorpe.  The purpose was to have the trucks replaced at the Reading Shops.  I believe Conrail donated a set of trucks from a U30B with the provision that they return the original trucks to them.  Here, a Chapter trip performs a photo runby on the stone arch Maiden Creek Viaduct.  Kodachrome 64 scan.
