Autumn Tactics

            After a long day of following trains across the Bloomington and Lafayette subs, the timing worked out in my favour. After cresting and descending the hill at Philo, UP7414 climbs the hill to CP Unity just west of Sidney as the sun dips to the horizon. It was a scene I very nearly missed as I was about to leave the area, but a signal indication and the hint of the sun told me I couldn't leave quite yet - and I'm glad I stayed.

Fall and Winter are my least favourite seasons because of how quick the sunlight disappears, not to mention the cold, but there are times when that can be a real blessing.
