Moss with Water

Time to go outside and get some moss. It's a really interesting macro subject and we have been exploring the mini jungle it creates in our latest video, check it out here >>> youtu.be/ms3OARH6ic8

Those little buds and stems are absolutely tiny, but if you can get close enough, they can look like towering trees on an alien planet. We got super close using a reversed 50mm lens set up and the results were awesome.

We had a spray bottle on hand to add some water droplets too. You can see them coming in from the top right of the image as the water mist descends, adding some rain to that surreal forest look.

Of course, we couldn't help but experiment with the Adaptalux Studio's coloured LEDs too. Adding some red and blue Lighting Arms helped make the strange landscape look even more alien.
