Winter hiking in Otro - a photo on Flickriver

            Alagna Valsesia. Italy.

The lower, ancient building of the settlement named Pianmisura. These building are used during the summer to watch over livestock, therefore many of them have been restored and modernized with solar panels.
In the backdrop, the steep northern face of Corno d'Otro (Otro's horn, from the name of the river that carved this valley).
