Tortoiseshell butterfly Aglais Urticae feeding on buddleia Killamarsh near Sheffield

            These were plentiful until about 15 years ago. I remember seeing one warming up in perfect surroundings, but I didn't have my camera. I thought nothing about it as it would not be long before I could get another shot of one. I'm talking days, but suddenly they were gone and it's taken me all this time to get the 'another shot'. They do seem to be coming back a tad.
