Woman with a lama I - a photo on Flickriver

            The traditional clothes of the Colca Valley are characterised by very soft colours and extremely fine patterns. The small jacket is sleeveless and can be worn over a white shirt. The skirt is longer behind, short on the front, and is worn on a first skirt, long; both are covered with patterns. The hat, also white, with wide brim, is entirely decorated with embroidery.
