WW crossing the Potomac River - a photo on Flickriver

            Driving down Interstate 81 one can see the bridge on the East Side of the bridge as one crosses over the Potomac. Later that day I quizzed my friend Stan on who operated over this bridge and when he told me it was the Winchester and Western, but also said it was doable but would result in a long walk to get in position to photograph it. JugBoy had already scoped this out on Google Earth and we looked to see if we could find an easier way to get to it.  We finally came to the conclusion that walking the C&O Canal Path would be the easiest way. After we walked the 2 miles down in sweltering heat we waited for the arrival.  The folks fishing in the boat just added to an already great shot imho. Oh BTW it was great spending some time with my long time friend JugBoy and meeting a new one.
