Cobbles or Setts? - a photo on Flickriver

Cobbles or Setts?

            99.5 % of streets around Greater Manchester which once were cobbled are now covered in tarmac, for some reason this street has been left untouched and even the pavement still has the old style paving stones. 

I have seen proper rougher cobbled streets and other streets that used smoother setts,, to my eye these are something in-between?
