Williamstown District Soldiers' Memorial Institute, South Australia

Built as the Williamstown Institute, the stone was laid by Mr A J Murray in April 1911.
Later the building became known as the Williamstown Soldiers' Memorial Institute. On either side of the door two marble stones were added - reading "1914–1919" and "The District's Tribute".
Institute meetings had previously been held in the Williamstown Council Hall now known as Domain Day. Domain Day is the property of the Day wine making family.
*The Memorial at the side of the Institute is the Boer War Memorial.
