            The 25 metre tug boat K C Campbell caught fire while berthed at Port Adelaide.
Local fire crews were called and able to extinguish the blaze.
The damage to the tug was extensive and estimated to be around $90,000. Authorities reported the fire may have been arson.
It was decided the tug should be dismantled and sold for scrap.

*In this image the tug was still a shell alongside the North Parade Wharf, having experienced a fresh paint job. Men working on the tug were still not sure what the eventual result would be.
