Trail Wood Sanctuary - a photo on Flickriver

Former home of Pulitzer prize winning author & naturalist Edwin Way Teale (1899-1980) and his wife Nellie (1900-1993), the 168 acre property comprising ponds, streams, woodlands, swamps and open fields is now a nature preserve administered by the Connecticut Audubon Society.
