docile - a photo on Flickriver

docile

            Of all the varied thrushes to spend the fall and winter in the garden , this was a favorite, so docile and content to spend hours here every day, but I guess this led to its downfall a couple of weeks ago, taken out by a predator, a cooper's hawk I believe who had spent lots of time scanning the garden for food.
