Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg - a photo on Flickriver

            und wieder mal ein Bauwerk aus längst vergangender Zeit. Damals war die Schifffahrt das Non Plus Ultra, Kanäle waren die Zukunft.
Allerdings gab es viele Hindernisse auf dem Weg, wie z.B Höhenunterschiede - und geboren war die Schleuse. Da die Deutsche Ingenieurskunst vieles
übertraff erfand man ein Bauwerk, welches auch heute noch sehr impulsant ist und nett anzusehen - Das Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg.

Auf dem Geländer wird nicht nur die Technik des Hebewerkes gezeigt sondern auch viele andere Impressionen die mit dem Thema "Kanalschiffe" zu tun haben.
