Relaxing in the sun - a photo on Flickriver

Late in the day, nearing sunset, a polar bear lies in the snow above Hudson Bay. In the distance the open waters of Hudson Bay, with streaks of inshore ice, are visible. This has to freeze solid before the bears can go out onto the bay to hunt seals.
