Picture 1500 sees Lothian 287 at the Jeffrey Street/Market Street junction in Edinburgh on the short Service 6.

            The recently (2017) delivered electric vehicle was captured about to join Market Street from Jeffrey Street in Edinburgh. This is Lothian's shortest route (1.5 miles) linking Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament with Hanover Street in the city centre and providing a service for a part of the Old Town not well served by the operator's other services. The church in the background at the mouth of Carrubber's Close is Old St Paul's (Scottish Episcopal Church), built in 1883, but with a history going back to 1689. This is my 1500th image posted to Flickr.
