Eyelash Viper (Costa Rica) DSC_7935 - a photo on Flickriver

            This beauty was in a tree near the ground during a guided tour while in the Arenal area near La Fortuna.  

During the hike, the group was told not to touch any plants just in case a venomous snake was hanging around.  It seems like good advice.  I believe I would add... Do not try to get a close-up shot of snakes like this one with your cell phone.  There were people trying to do that.
