dunkle Erinnerungen - a photo on Flickriver

Im kleinen Ort Pfalden (Falcade) in den Dolomiten erinnert eine kleine Kapelle neben der Pfarrkirche "Santa Maria Immacolata" (erbaut 1933-1947) an die Opfer des Gebirgskrieges, der hier von 1915-1918 in den Höhen der Alpengipfel tobte und wohl bis zu 180.000 Menschenleben forderte.
