Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) - a photo on Flickriver

            I've been very lucky with swallows this year -- they seem to land nearby when I happen to have a camera handy.  This adult male was found perched on a dock at Okanagan Lake, north of Fintry, British Columbia, Canada.
