Cold Gold Waters

            I drove over to Hatcher's Pass today to get out of the house and stopped at the Little Susitna River than comes down from the mountains for a view of the river flowing over these boulders. You can pan for gold in the Little Susitna but those waters are from glaciers upstream and are very, very cold. So, you better wear insulated waders if you try to pan for gold! I sat down and tried a slower shutter speed to get more of a flowing motion from the water as it flowed over these boulders.
