The old mills waterfall - a photo on Flickriver

            This is the waterfall in Jesmond dene next to the old mill. I have been visiting this place since I was a child and never ever knew that this was man made. It was created by William Armstrong and his wife. They gifted the dene to the people of Newcastle upon Tyne over 100 years ago.

I took this shot on a long exposure to blur the water and create a dream like image to the photograph.
