Conrail and the Reading on the NYC - a photo on Flickriver

            Trains with two of Norfolk Southern's heritage units on point are hard to get nowadays, so when I heard that NS 8098 and NS 1067 were teamed up on train 25V for Landers Yard in Chicago, I knew I wanted to make a trip to Chesterton to get a shot.

Here the duo passes the NYC depot (now a Chamber of Commerce) next to Riley's Railhouse in Chesterton at ~5:15 am. Nice to see Big Blue on home rails!
