Three Models, One Family - a photo on Flickriver

            This was C&NW Weekend at the Illinois Railway Museum, where all the C&NW locomotives on museum property were given a chance to run trains on the mainline. The museum also hosted the C&NW Historical Society as part of its annual convention, and Union Pacific even sent UP 1995 for display!

The day's trains have all but finished running, and those visitors who have stuck around are watching some of the volunteers get training on some of the diesels by running up and down the mainline. Here, CNW F7 #411 sits at the station with the bilevel train, looking good in the golden hour sunlight, while CNW SD40-2 #6847 idles away one track over and CNW GP7 #4160 / CRIP 4506 trundles by on the mainline.
