Lonely Relics

            The Milky Way rises above abandoned Chicago Metra Trains in San Diego's Jucumba region. 
The Story of how the trains got here is a mystery, from what I understand the speculation is that they were for brought from Chicago to Tijuana for a commuter train between Tijuana and Tecate, Mexico, or for a tourist train through the Carrizo Gorge in San Diego's East County. 

Due to corruption and mismanagement that business failed, the trains had been moved to Jucumba to be scrapped only for the contractor who had begun the scrapping to find out that the people who hired them to scap the trains did not actually own the trains, and to this day this is where they remain,....or at least that is as much as I have been able to figure out. 

If anyone knows anymore about these trains feel free to chime in.
