Sympetrum sinaiticum. Male - a photo on Flickriver

            Copio de la Guía de Dijkstra:
"Típicamente con menos marcas negras que striolatum pero más que S. meridionale. Dos rasgos deberían servir para distinguir las sinaiticum de estas dos especies en el campo: 
1/ Parte inferior de los ojos gris azulada, no verde ni marrón
2/ Machos con una corta barra negra a cada lado de S2, S3, en contraste con el resto liso del abdomen. Los machos maduros no son intensamente rojos sino más rosa salmón.

"Typically with less black markings than striolatum but more than S. meridionale, two features should serve to distinguish the sinaiticum of these two species in the field:
1 / Bottom of eyes bluish gray, not green or brown
2 / Males with a short black bar on each side of S2, S3, in contrast to the smooth rest of the abdomen. Mature males are not intensely red but more pink salmon.
