            The first weekend or two of the Polar Express had 4965 Rood Ashton Hall and 7029 Clun Castle top n' tailing. After that the leading loco heading up from Moor Street has been 47773 AKA D1755 / 47161 / 47541. No harm done to the kids who see 4965 dressed as Polar Star as they board the train - and a bit of variety for us enthusiasts.

It was a bit of a tight squeeze getting shots though - 4 or 5 of us were on a rotating shift right up against the end of platform fence, taking shots before the service moved to Moor Street sidings.
