Chickadee on blue fountain - a photo on Flickriver

            This is from last year....  they love the little trickles of water in this thing.

It's almost time to drag it out of the garage, but not quite yet.

The little chickadees, nuthatches and house finches love it.... and, the robins have even tried it out for bathing, although it is pretty small for them. That's not to say they don't try! 

We took in the heated bird bath last weekend and this morning, the regular unheated bird bath is frozen solid.  It's not quite warm enough yet for things not to freeze up overnight ...even though it is finally getting up to the plus number in the daytime. 
Yesterday it was there were snowflakes falling gently for most of the day.  Luckily they did not accumulate ... however, it is not over yet for us.
We've had some BIG snowfalls in late April and early May ...
