Commotion - a photo on Flickriver

Commotion

            First apologies for yet another shot of Trebarwith, however the fact it is not a million miles from home plus I think it offers up quite a few different compositions does lure me back on a regular basis.

Funny enough it is not only me who likes this location, when I recently walked towards the beach (for those of you that know it) I counted 15 photographers all jostling for position at the end of the rock on the left hand side. 

Boy did they look fierce, both men and ladies nudging, pushing, baring their teeth at each other, at one point I thought there were going to be backpacks and tripods at close quarters. What is the world coming to.

Not wanting to be part of all this commotion I quietly sauntered off on plan B and scrambled up onto these rocks across the gully opposite the baying pack where I had the place to myself.
It did quite tickle me that when observing the heated group of photographers discreetly through my peripheral vision, the jostling had stopped and fingers were being pointed in my direction, much to say, why did we not think of that!

Then you could see the steam coming out of the ears amongst said group, did they stay where they were, lose face and give up pole position (in their minds) and come over to where I was, or did pride and vanity get the better of them, fortunately for me they stayed put and the pushing and shoving continued, whether they got any photos is anyones guess.

Nowt as strange as folk, I certainly enjoyed a quiet evening on my own.
