Created in 1955 by the Spanish financier Juan March Ordinas, the Fundación Juan March is a family, patrimonial and operational institution, which develops its activities in the field of humanistic and scientific culture. Its headquarters are the work of the architect José Luis Picardo, inaugurated in 1975.

With a built-up area of 18,000 square meters and 1,700 of a garden (in which you can enjoy an interesting selection of sculptures), this modern cultural center organizes art exhibitions, concerts, conferences and seminars.

In addition, it has two libraries: the main one, constituted as a research support center, with a wide documentary collection of titles dedicated to art and humanities; and the patio library, a small free access space that seeks to be a magnet for new and old readers, who discover or rediscover the universal classics or find new authors, in a space without barriers where the reader is trusted.

The Foundation also has a cafeteria and a bookstore
