            the watch is on. many Ontario folks on Facebook are reporting Hummingbirds leaving.  the latest I've seen them here is about October 9, so we'll see what happens this year.  the shot has become a ritual.  we sit outside, first thing in the morning with coffee.  the hummer shows up (frequently) in morning light and with a very well shaded background.
