New Leaves & Flowers On Our Japanese Maple, 3-7-23

First leaves of the year;
Gorgeous red leaves and flowers --
Japanese maple.


Our Japanese maple tree, Acer palmatum.  Best viewed on full screen.
Some of the cylindrical buds have finally opened up, revealing both flowers and leaves!!! Absolutely beautiful!!  The first of the year for our tree!  I know it seems odd for someone to be so excited about leaves/flowers erupting; I'm just an odd person, I guess; to me, that's a good thing.
