Flaps of the butterfly
aroma of spring
joyous the blackbird
hark it does sing.

Buzz of the bee
high up the lark
from dawn in the morning
'til sunset at dark'

This year it seems a poor year for insects in my garden here in Bristol.
Although I have numerous insect friendly plants the insect population has decreased.

For example; I have only spotted 3 Red Admirals .... other years there would have been probably 25 different Red Admiral butterflies or more.

There are plenty of Speckled Wood and White butterflies around .... so that's brilliant.
