Pulsatilla alpina en fruit (près du Pas de la Balme).

            France. Alpes. Massif du Vercors. Photo prise lors d'une rando en A/R au cours de laquelle nous sommes montés (ma femme et moi) au Pas de la Balme, en partant du Col de l'Arzelier.

Pour rejoindre le Pas de la Balme, le sentier nous fait emprunter un couloir herbeux bien raide, à l'aide de nombreux lacets. Puis après l'effort, c'est le réconfort puisqu'on termine par une magnifique vire herbeuse horizontale au pied des falaises, où le spectacle est grandiose. L'illustration en photos ne devrait pas tarder. 😉

Quant à cette pulsatilla alpina, je l'ai prise pendant la rude montée dans le couloir herbeux final. Pas forcément parce que c'est le seul endroit où j'en ai vu (je ne m'en souvient plus). Mais me connaissant, c'est sans doute pour faire une pause pendant l'effort. 😉 D'autant que je me souviens avoir eu particulièrement mal au dos pendant cette montée.
Contrairement à ce que son nom pourrait laisser croire, on ne la rencontre pas que dans les Alpes, mais plus généralement en montagne, à partir de 1000m. D'ailleurs j'en ai vu l'été dernier au pied du Grand Ballon en Alsace.
