Prologue
Sebastian
Tyn Dwr Hall Ballroom, Llangollen Wales
Sebastian casually left the reception in the ballroom around nine that night.
Though the lavish party was showing no signs of slowing, he had enough fun for the evening.
From an inner pocket of his grey pin-stripped tux coat, he pulled out a cigar case. Stopping to look back up at the large hall with its many strung outdoor lights, he smiled to himself, it so far had been a most pleasant and productive evening.
He walked through the gardens before reaching his sports car located in the car park on the other side of a strip of woods.
Hopping in, he started up the engine, settled back, and let out a puff of smoke, before letting out the clutch and drove slowly out of the car park until he reached the speedway.
Then, he shifted the sports car out of gear, allowing the powerful engine to surge forth.
He drove off for some 29 miles before slowing down and turning off down a road leading into some woods.
There to his right was another, deserted looking, car park.
He pulled in, getting out of the car he looked around, letting the smoke from his half-finished cigar swirl around as he wrote down some notes on a pad.
After a few minutes heard a twig deliberately being snapped somewhere close in the woods, but didn’t look up until he had finished writing.
Two females emerged from the shadows, clothed in black leather, one also wearing a black leather jacket, the other in a long black leather coat.
Even though it was past twilight, both were wearing sunglasses. Also, they had unlit cigarettes dangling from their mouths.
They came up to the now-watching Sebastian, who pulled out an ebony lighter from a trouser pocket and elegantly flamed it up, lighting the lady’s cigarettes.
One of the ladies, after letting out a puff of cigarette smoke, asked.
“You left early? How did the party go?”
Sebastian smiled oozing self-confidence as he looked into their inquisitive faces.
“Well enough…Yes then, I have information on two wealthy families that may be of interest.”
He tore off the sheet of paper he had been writing on and dangled it.
The talking lady took the paper.
“It’s all there, addresses, times, names, and schedules.”
A folded wad of notes is then passed back to him as thieves raise their sunglasses and look over the information
He clears his throat.
They both look up at him and see that he is holding another bit of paper in his hand.
I have time-sensitive info if you’re interested. If not I was thinking of sourcing it out myself.
The girl who had been speaking nods her head…
“We’re listening.”
Sebastian smiled happily as he told them
“See, there were these two preteen females, dressed up surprisingly well in taffeta, and wearing what looked like real jewels.”
The two women looked at him over the tops of their sunglasses, smoke curling out from the lit cigarettes in their mouths.
Sebastian continued on…
“Well, their gems were very real to the tune of £12,000 each. So I naturally put them on my radar. I saw they were being minded over by what looked like a well-dressed maid. She had been drinking, calling herself a governess, not a maid. I was talking her up as she watched over her family’s younger female siblings. Found out there is a third girl in the family, much older. Appears the governess didn’t much care for this particular charge. Her name is Ginny, jealousy I suspect. For a few quid the Maid…er…The governess was a spilling font of information.”
He took a last puff of his cigar, then dropped it, crushing it under his expensive leather loafers, before continuing…
“Learned this Ginny girl is going home with a girlfriend and spending the night at the friend’s mansion. It appears that the parents of that place are out of town. Just the two 17-year-old females and a 17-year-old lad will be home, totally alone this evening!”
The lady wearing the black leather jacket grins…
“Sounds delicious.”
“How’s thier jewelry luv.”
“Got a look at both, a dance even with one, the friend found out where her jewelry will be spending their time at home this evening. The pair are both loaded down, wearing over £175,000 in ice combined, plus what’s lying about at the friend’s home.
It’ll all be Ripe for the taking tonight. “
The other lady spoke for the first time.
“The governess was jealous you say.”
Sebastian nodded.
“Yes, mum. Once she had pocketed my money, could not wait to point her out. Tell me how expensive her gown was, how real her jewels were. But there was spite in her tone, like she was saying it hoping the girl would be punished for showing off. But as I watched the girl, I saw the governess was spot on about her jewels, but I also sensed Ginny was a lively sport not warranting the ill feelings of others.“
An eyebrow was arched in interest as another thicke wad of notes was produced.
“Sounds promising. You’ve been spot-on with your info in the past. Okay, we will buy In.”
Looking at the cash being offered, a picture of the valuably brilliant diamond studded owl pendant that Ginny was wearing suddenly flashed sparkling across Sebastian’s mind.
With a poker face, Sebastian looked at the two hard-postured women.
“This isn’t for cash, say 15% of the take?”
The boss thief shakes her head in disagreement.
“10%, no more.”
Sebastian, not afraid of dealing with the likes of these two, now shakes his head no…
“I could source it for 20%. But I like how your gang works, it’s guaranteed the job will be done right. Let’s make it 12% then.”
Greedily, They both nod in agreement, a wad of folded notes is re-pocketed in a leather jacket, as the detailed information is handed over.
The female thieves, flickering away their cigarettes, then tip their fingers in salute, turning to leave.
He watched them disappear into the wood line, fingering happily another long cigar.
How much he did love doing this line of work, easy money earned for some insider information easily gleaned.
A car starts up, and just inside the woods, a pair of headlights flicker on.
Sebastian then lights the cigar and places hands comfortably in his pocket feeling the healthy wad of notes, as he watches the two thieves pull out from the shadows and drive off.
He then went to his sports car, hopped back into his car seat, and drove the way he had. came, heading back to Tyn Dwr Hall ballroom.
For these two weren’t his only thievery-minded contacts he was working for this evening.
Another thief, a pickpocket among other things, was hoping to be working the venue towards the end of the party this evening, and was waiting for his(paid) tips before starting.
Then there was the money-hungry Maid/Governess he had been chatting up.
Sebastian had learned she wasn’t overly loyal to any of her wealthy charges, including the expensive jewel and taffeta gown-clad 10 and 12-year-old females under her care this evening.
It was hinted that for a cut of the profit, she was more than willing to be persuaded to turn back to her very targetable wealthy family charges for a bit of time (wink).
And for an added price Sebastian was willing to acte as a connecting link between the two wickedly devious parties.
Ah yes, how he loved his line of work.

Thus It’s a fitting adjective to describe this tale.

It was mid-October when my 17-year-old twin sister was invited to attend a very posh formal evening affair being held at Tyn Dwr Hall, accompanying her classmate( and neighbor) Ginny and Ginny’s wealthy politically ambitious parents.
My sister got herself all dolled up, slipping into her really beautiful ultra soft high-necked silk gown of deep violet: A shiny sheer bodice with long cuffed sleeves, ending in sweeping teasing fashion with a pleated skirt that danced playfully with becoming gracefulness down around her ankles.
She had winningly worn out the gown only a fortnight ago at our aunt's black tie-only wedding held at the fashionable Ischoyd Park House and Grounds.
As she had at the wedding, with her silk gown, my sister added on her good diamonds: wildly sparkly wide fringe (or tassel ) style necklace with a double attached row of diamonds, from which were hanging chains of diamonds, her matching long swaying diamond chain earrings, her 7 strand diamond bracelet and 4 glimmering rings from her large collection.
Her hair was held by a pair of our mum’s fancy diamond-encrusted clips. They looked very regally pretty, allowing her long natural ginger hair to fall curling down behind her back.
Though there had been no worries over my sister wearing expensive diamond jewellery to our aunt's wedding, there was some argument over her wearing them out this evening at a function where she was off on her own.
My sister somehow won that argument over our parental unit's apprehension.
To complete the elegant ensemble she was wearing silver satin pumps and carried a black satin clutch purse.
She looked smashing and I told her so as she was heading out, and as hoped, receiving a warm bear hug for my words, her gown chinchilla soft in my arms.
My parents were also out for one of their long weekends, so I spent that first evening alone watching movies on the Telly.

I got comfortable in my black silk long-sleeved pjs and green velour shawl collard robe, then settled down with a bottle of wine purloined from the basement, on our great room’s couch to watch a movie.
The movie that night was Italian. With English subtitles.
Titled “Perras Callejetas” it concerned a group of lady thieves.
It was a fun watch for the most part.
It got really intense when the all-female gang at one point in the movie infiltrated a
very upper-class restaurant and began robbing the wealthy patrons of their wallets and some well-dressed up females of their rather expensive jewels.
I found it a bit unsettling, knowing my sister was all dressed up, out and about, wearing dripping jewels similar to those that the ladies in the restaurant were being robbed of.
I also found myself imagining that if they raided the party my sister was at, they would have made a bloody killing. In my mind, I was using the guests at our aunt's wedding for the victims.
It was as those creepy vibes were tingling over me that I heard a floorboard creaking from behind me.
Thinking it was my sister coming in early, I turned to scold her for sneaking up on a bloke like that.

I suddenly went ice cold with disbelief
Standing in the doorway were two figures dressed in black spandex, wearing black gloves and ski masks. One was holding a wickedly small pistol, both carried small black leather satchels.
They were both females, the taller one snarling:
“Right my lad, you freeze right there.”
They came over to me and the same female thief again snarled:
“Oui lad. You’ll do as I say. Stand with your arms behind your back.
I did so and felt my robe pulled off from behind. Then my arms were pinned to my back.
The taller thief, who I suspected was the boss, then said:
Okay, luv let’s take some of the fight out of you.”
She reached down and grasping my John Thomas began rubbing the material of my silk pjs along its length.
Rather quickly the already under-pressure dragon grew even larger and released, fire spits out with an overwhelming surge, then died out, leaving me weak and feeling deflated and defeated.
A knife was put to my chin
“Ok, lad you’re going upstairs with us and help us with the rooms.”
This was really happening! The movie was out of my head, my thoughts now went to hoping they would be through doing their wicked business before my sister returned

Leaving the living room I was forced upstairs.
Directly in front were two of the three-bedroom doors on that floor. The third door was set a few feet off the west wing, facing our side, on the east side was the staircase leading up to additional rooms upstairs.
The lady thief in charge asked me whose rooms these were as she pointed toward each door.
Guest room and den were facing us. The west wing door led to the master bedroom.
With a silent nod from her boss, the other thief went to each door and opened them, looking back she confirmed what I had said.
We turned and went to the door leading to the master bedroom.
The door was opened and I was forced inside.
They then closed the door and I was made to stand against it and watch as the two female thieves quickly pinpointed Mum’s jewellery armoire and were upon it like a couple of magpies. They soon looted it clean of the drawer's valuably sparkling contents.
Then they quickly checked drawers, closets, and behind the numerous pictures on the walls. Even the four-poster bed in the centre of the room had its satin-covered pillows and mattress given a toss.
Several items that I couldn’t determine were placed in the satchel from the drawers. From Mum's closet, a fur and several gowns were pulled out, admired, and then piled upon the bed's satin sheets.
“Finished here,” the tall thief said to her partner, who nodded in agreement.
They came to me and pulled me roughly from the door. Opening it I was matched out.
We passed the other two doors and went directly to, then up the 3rd-floor staircase.
The taller thief nodded towards the 3 doors on that floor.
I told them where they led…
“The end room is for guests The middle two are mine … “
The taller thief looked at me her eyes narrowing malevolently.
I admitted where the one middle door led.
“… that one belongs to my sister.”
Surprisingly they didn’t ask me where she was.
The shorter, silent thief opened my sister’s bedroom door.
I was pushed inside and the door closed, I was again made to stand against the closed door.
As I watched the two thieves, with the same eagerness they had with the master bedroom, went over her room with a fine toothcomb.
They quickly found her jewel case and emptied its sparking contents into a leather satchel
One stopped to look at a group of photos of my sister on her dresser. She lifted one with her wearing a white satin debutant gown and pearls. Then put it inside her satchel.
Then they did a quick Look in closets wardrobes and dark nooks. Pulling out a few selected gowns, a leather jacket, and a fur. As they had in the master bedroom, these were piled upon the black satin sheets of my sister’s canopy-covered four-poster beds.
Anything small that looked as if it may have value was also quickly examined and mostly taken.
A jeweled half-masque, her rhinestone belt. A satin clutch purse, and her small collection of silver spoons, all disappeared inside a thief’s leather satchel.
They were surprisingly quick and efficient, and unfortunately effective, in their endeavor.
When they had finished they ditched me into the hall while one of the burglars looked inside the remaining rooms.
She darted into my room but came out after only a minute. I felt a little insulated, truth be told.
I was then marched downstairs back to the second floor and we all entered the den.
Again I was told to stand against the now closed door, forced to watch as the pair expertly examined the walls, pictures, and the desk. I knew what they were looking for.
Unfortunately, they did not find it, coming to me and threatening me with the knife.
Knowing my sister would be home soon, and wanting these two out of the house before that, I sighed and walking over to a certain bookshelf, I moved a book, which caused a small door to open from a wall panel
Exposing a floor safe.
I was pushed into one of the chairs surrounding Father’s poker table.
The boss thief eagerly bent down, licking her lips, and began working the safe open.
Her companion meanwhile worked over the rest of the room.
From inside the safe, she pulled out several cases of various lengths and colours. Opening each the glittering “evening out” class jewels they contained were exposed. Those then were emptied inside the burglar’s satchel and the cases discarded.
A few other small items were extracted and looked over, several of them joining the leather satchel contents.
With one final look around, I was approached and forced past the door, once it was opened, I was then pushed out into the corridor.
All I could think about was now that they were finished, they would leave before my sister got home.
Then I realized that was not going to be happening.
The boss thief told me:
“Wait here. I’ll be downstairs. Give no warning to your sister, talk to them like nothing's wrong until I come out.”
She nodded to her companion who had remained mute the whole time. She stood off In the den. Facing my back.
I realized then that they weren’t planning on leaving, they knew about my sister coming home and were laying a trap. But what did the thief mean by them?

The 40 minutes that I stood at the top of the stairs felt like an eternity… my knees weakened with the thoughts of what my prettily attired twin sister was walking into.
Then finally I heard the key turn the lock as the grandfather clock chimed down midnight.
Sis came swishing(and glittering) into the room.
She directly spotted me up on the landing.
Our friend Ginny was right behind her, shimmering up a storm from the jewels she was wearing
I cringed, this is what “them” meant.
My sister and Ginny both giggled when she saw the look in my eyes
“Cat got your tongue, eh? Guess I forgot to tell you Ginny is spending the night did I?”
Forlornly I looked down upon the beaming Ginny.
The same Ginny from the manor house down the road that I had a major crush on.
And considering we had recently made out in the old cemetery behind our house, I would say she felt about the same.
Unfortunately tonight, Ginny was absolutely a knockout, wearing a long slithery gown of midnight black dyed thin satin with glittering rhinestones set in the gown's waistline and around her gowns’s high neckline.
A slit in the right side of the gown traveled up her slender leg to about mid-thigh.
Ginny’s jewellery was also adorably cute, and just as adorably expensive.
Her parents had been at the party so she had been allowed to wear her best jewellery, which immediately came to mind that this was the reason my sister had been so adamant about wearing her diamonds instead of her pearls as our mum had wanted.
Ginny’s jewels consisted of a pair of 7 7-centimeter gold earrings set with yellow diamonds, a 15-centimeter wide gold bracelet set with yellow diamonds wrapped around her left wrist, and a gold ruby and yellow diamond ring on her left ring finger. Her red hair was held back in a long plait, with three glittering chains of diamonds woven in.
But the star of the show was shimmering just a tad over her snugly gown-covered breasts. A long diamond set gold chain with a pendant in the shape of a gold owl with ruby eyes, a yellow diamond-filled body, and folding wings, perched with ruby-tipped claws on a white diamond embedded solid gold branch.
I’ve seen Ginny wear that pendant out a lot, which was no surprise, as it put on a mesmerizing show when fast dancing, and appeared to earn her free drinks at the pubs.
As I soaked all this in, I realized Ginny was talking to me.
“We’ve decided on a sleepover in the basement room. Looks like you’re already dressed for it. But it’s girls only luv.
My sister nodded her head, diamond clips flashing up a storm in the subdued light.
Then, with her whole silken-clad figure quivering, she gushed :
“Lad, I was dancing with the most charming man.”
Ginny giggled poking my sister
“I let him, also he liked me better luv.”
The two girls began to playfully tease the other.
That is until they both stopped cold as the burglar came out of the side sunroom holding that wicked little pistol of hers at the girl's shiny silken waists.

“Hello, ladies. He(indicating me) may not have known a guest was coming tonight. But we did. And Ginny thanks to your sourpuss governess, we knew exactly where you ….
She walked up and lifted Ginny’s dazzling diamond owl-shaped pendant
… and your jewels were spending the
night.
Calmly the thief took off her gloves, placing them on a chair. Then she ran her fingers along the ultra-soft gowns the girls were now very limply wearing.
“You looked very lovely tonight my princesses don’t look surprised, we had eyes on on the pair of you this evening..”
She again lifted Ginny’s owl-shaped pendant, letting it slip from her fingers. It sparkled as it fell back against the shiny backdrop of Ginny’s black satin gown.
Did you two pretties think you could be out on your own wearing what you are and not attract notice?”
The lady thief then lifted my sister's diamond necklace, fingering the sparkling chains of diamonds that dangled from it as she licked her lips and gave an answer to an unasked question:
“No, my pretty one. This is not random, but something we were planning out all evening.”
The thief dropped the necklace, letting it slide from her fingers.
Then she pulled the girl's clutch purses from their hands.
The lady thief then looked at the girls and waving her pistol towards the stairs snarled:
“Ok, hunnies! Go upstairs,. Quick as a couple of bunnies. or we may be forced into hurting the lad!”
I cringed, not liking the sound of that A’toll.
My sister and Ginny throwing disbelieving looks at each other, swished wretchedly over to the stairway, their jewels glittering up a pinpricking storm of light.
They came up the stairs, puppy sad eyes on me, closely followed by the pistol-holding female thief.
Reaching the landing all three of us were forced into the den and made to take seats around Father’s poker table.
My hands were pulled back and tied together, then bound securely to the chair.
When they had finished the boss thief told the girls.
“Ok, my pretty ones. Let’s have you remove all those delicious jewels of yours and place them onto the table.
My sister hesitated.
The thief slammed her hand on the table, causing all of us to jump. Then she grabbed my sister by the chin, I could see her breasts were beating fast as as my sister’s were…
“One thing to get straight hunny, do as I say when I say it. Some girls learn this later in life, that there is sometimes a price a rich lady pays when she goes out dressed as you were tonight, without taking proper precautions. Now we will be out of here all the quicker if you stop your whining and balking when I tell you to do something. Capiche ?”
The wicked little black pistol was pointed at each girl’s heaving shiny silk-covered chests.
The girls both sadly nodded,
Then the pistol was pointed at me as the tall thief looked back at the distraught girls.
Then in a scene of Deja Vu, looking remarkably reminiscent of the movie I had been watching, the two girls with a whimper, began lifting their hands and removing their jewels one by one, dropping them on the green velvet-covered poker table.
They were almost in sync, both first lifting off their beautifully glimmering diamond necklaces from the sleekly slick gowns they had adorned. Laying than gently onto the table. Then each pulled out their glittering earrings, plopping them onto the necklaces, which lay there looking like flickering curled snakes.
The two thieves, licking their lips, while keeping their eyes on their victims, went to father’s bourbon decanter and the silent female thief poured two glasses. Which they toasted and drank watching the pile of jewellery growing in front of each of my girls.
The fact we were around a poker table made it appear that some sort of freakish card-less betting game was going on.
Albeit, a rather sexily stimulating betting game to those of us watching (or at least to me). I felt my sore John Thomas now rising back up into yearning life as it had while watching the eerily similar scene of silky-clad ladies being robbed of jewels that had been played out in the movie I had watched earlier.

After she had tugged off her rings, my twin sister reached down and pulled off her diamond set chain ankle bracelet, then sat back first looking miserably at the shiny pile her jewellery had made on the tabletop.
The thief, using the glass of bourbon she was holding, pointed to my twin’s hair.
“Don’t forget the clips.
My sister stiffened
“They were borrowed.”
The thief just stood there.
My sister with a heartfelt sigh, reached up and pulled out the diamond hair clips. Her hair fell into her face.
The thief looked at her partner, who nodded. She went over and lifting the glittering pile in front of my sister, stuffed them inside her satchel.
Then looked up at my quivering sister, mockingly saying to her:
“Thank you very much, my pretty girl”
Ginny meanwhile was lastly struggling off with her tight ring.
They waited until she had it off and added it to her pile.
The lady thief then lifted Ginny’s jewelry, placing it all inside her satchel.
Then she looked back over at her partner, who nodded.
The taller thief came over and taking my sister by her wrists raised her hands above her head and held them there.
I was forced to watch as the shorter female thief began thoroughly patting down each flinching girl in turn.
Probing, prodding, and searching every silken-covered curve bump, hidden under the slick gown-covered nook and crevice until she was satisfied neither squirming girl was holding anything out.
Once finished they did the same to poor Ginny.
Once finished they stepped back around, poured fresh drinks, and sipped as both looked inside the leather satchel, then up at the wretched girls, the thief's eyes gleaming, licking their red lips.
The boss female burglar then nodded.
“Brilliant! One last thing though…”
She reached inside her satchel pulled out my sister’s framed debutante photo, and laid it in front of my twin.
She went back and taking her knife from its sheath on her belt held its point prickling into my neck.
“Ok, darling. Where are the pearls hiding that you’re wearing in the picture?”
I was nodding my head “no” as my sister looked up from the photo and said with a tongue-thicke cracking voice.
“Pull out the middle drawer of my vanity. There is a hidden section behind it.
The boss female moved like a cat to the door and disappeared. A few minutes later she came back and opening her fist dumped out the gleaming collection of pearls, a diamond broach, and a gold hair comb set with rubies.
The other female thief gawked at the pile, before snatching them all up and placing them inside her satchel.
“Very nice princess.”
She nodded to her mute underling…
Then as I watched, the second female thief pulled out cords of rope and quickly, with an expert's ease, bound both girls' ankles, wrists, and silken waists to their chairs.

When the thief had finished binding up the girls the older thief handed her the pistol, then left the room.
After a few very long minutes, she came back jn, holding our school backpacks filled to bursting.
They then rechecked our bindings while giving the girls one last final look over.
A closed folding knife was laid out in the centre of the poker table.
I recognized it as one from my room.
They were giving us a way to cut out of our bindings but were buying time by making it a challenge.
Then helping each other slide on our bulging school backpacks, we helplessly watched as they slipped out of the room and were lost to view.
After a few minutes, we all heard a door closing from downstairs.
All then grew unsettling quiet.

I jolted up in panic, as the grandfather clock in the corner began chiming, struggling against rope bindings that didn’t exist.
I was feeling the chilling waves of prickling sweaty shock sweeping over me as I realized that I was still on the couch, the telly screen nothing but static. I groggily looked over at the grandfather clock.
"It was bloody 3 am in the morning!"
I sat for a few minutes, thinking.
The house was deathly quiet, except for the ticking of the clock. I had not even heard my sister come home, I had been that out of it.
Everything appeared to be normal.
But it all had seemed so real, the burglary, the anguish and helplessness of it all.
I lifted the bottle of wine, nearly empty, I had drunk almost the whole bottle, no wonder I was having nightmares.
I finished off the bottle, now realizing that It had all been a vivid dream, apparently a very wet dream by the damp feeling I was noticing around my crotch.
Stupid movie, and the worries it put into my head over my sister out this evening wearing those expensive diamonds.
I rose, stretched, and then decided I should best check in on said sister.
I groggily went up the stairs to our third-floor connecting bedrooms.
Her door was ajar. I peeked inside. She was not there, no indication she had been since leaving.
Her bed has not been slept in, but her room is oddly in disarrays.
Father’s den then popped into my mind.
I had passed it when coming up here. I couldn’t remember if I had looked at it.
I had a feeling that she may be inside, probably raiding Father’s bourbon.
I decided to see them and join in with a drink, to have a good laugh as I told her about my nightmare.
I went downstairs to the second floor. I noticed the den light was on, so I was right, I had walked right past without a look.
I opened the door inward.
Directly ahead I noticed with curiosity that the door of Father’s small Safe was open …
It was as I tried to wrap my head around it that I heard these odd noises coming from the other side of the room, my view being blocked by the open door.
I peered around the door and another round of fresh shock jolted through me again.
