Northern Chief, Hythe Station, Kent, Romney, Hythe, & Dymchurch Railway, 27/10/2021.

            From the first time I caught a glimpse of this incredible little railway back in 1967....I have been in love with it.....I remember being taken on it by my late Grandfather in the Summer of 1971....A day that I have remembered for over 50 years. Today, I took my Wife, Our Granddaughter Mollie, and my Mother for a ride on the train down to Dungeness, in Kent.....In this photo, you can see Northern Chief, a steam loco built for the R.H.&.D.R by Davey Paxman Works at Colchester in 1925....Beautifully maintained, this Locomotive is nearly 100 years old, and will probably steam on for another 100 years.
