Domaltar des evangelischen Doms Sankt Peter und Paul in der Havelstadt Brandenburg

            Mit dem Bau des heutigen Doms ist um die Mitte des 12. Jh. begonnen worden. Um die Mitte des 15. Jh. ist der gotische Umbau abgeschlossen. Die qualitätvollen Kunstwerke stammen aus allen Epochen vom Mittelalter bis ins 20. Jh. Sankt Peter und Paul gilt als die „Wiege der Mark“ bezeichnet wird, hat als „Mutter aller märkischen Kirchen“ überregionale kulturhistorische Bedeutung

The construction of today's cathedral began around the middle of the 12th century. The Gothic reconstruction was completed around the middle of the 15th century. The high-quality works of art originate from all epochs from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Saint Peter and Paul is known as the "cradle of the Mark", has supra-regional cultural-historical significance as the "mother of all churches in the Mark".

La construction de la cathédrale actuelle a commencé vers le milieu du XIIe siècle. La reconstruction gothique a été achevée vers le milieu du XVe siècle. Les œuvres d'art de grande qualité datent de toutes les époques, du Moyen-Âge au XXe siècle : Saint Pierre et Paul, connu comme le "berceau de la Marche", a une signification culturelle et historique suprarégionale en tant que "mère de toutes les églises de la Marche".
