Salzfelder am Atlantik - a photo on Flickriver

La Baule liegt am Antlantik im Département Loire-Atlantik 70 Kilometer westlich von Nantes. Sein Sandstrand gilt mit 12 km als der längste Strand in Europa.
Nach unserer Loire-Radtour haben wir für einige Tage dort Quartier bezogen um die Umgebung des schönen Badeortes im Départeman Loire-Atlantique  mit dem Rad zu erkunden. 
Auf einer dieser Touren haben wir im unmittelbaren Hinterland von La Baule diese große Salzflächen entdeckt, die gerne auch von den Seevögeln besucht werden.

Salt fields
La Baule is located on the Atlantic Ocean in the Loire-Atlantique département 70 kilometres west of Nantes. Its sandy beach is 12 km long and is considered the longest beach in Europe.
After our Loire cycling tour, we stayed there for a few days to explore the surroundings of the beautiful seaside resort in the Département Loire-Atlantique by bike. 
On one of these tours, we discovered these large salt flats in the immediate hinterland of La Baule, which are also popular with seabirds.

Champs de sel
La Baule est située sur l'océan Atlantique dans le département de la Loire-Atlantique, à 70 kilomètres à l'ouest de Nantes. Sa plage de sable de 12 km est considérée comme la plus longue d'Europe.
Après notre tour de la Loire à vélo, nous y sommes restés quelques jours pour explorer à vélo les environs de cette belle station balnéaire du département de la Loire-Atlantique. 
Lors d'un de ces circuits, nous avons découvert dans l'arrière-pays immédiat de La Baule ces grandes salines, que les oiseaux de mer visitent volontiers eux aussi.
